Im pretty sure that every person that gave 5 stars to this piece of shit establishment works for dub mission. By far Worst reggae in the bay. A lot of creepos, smelly disgusting bathrooms, weak ass drinks, and worst of all the dj played lame songs. Went to the bathroom and left my girl for 3 minutes and four guys were practicly molesting her. I felt bad for the single women that were there and so did my girl. And that was all within the first twenty five minutes we got there. Do your self a favor and go to shattuck Downlow. Wayyy better Music, drinks and environment.

I've been going to Dub Mission for 10 years and it has steadily grown into one of the strongest dub nights anywhere. DJ Sep and crew throw down a tight selection of classic dub, roots dancehall and dubstep. Great guests like Spliff Skankin, Adrian Sherwood, mad professor and twilight circus have come thru. Better nights in Chico? Gimme a break.

Shattuck's in Berkeley has a much better party on Sunday. The DJ at Shattucks isn't all that, but the music is danceable, and the women are plentiful Unlike this spot. I left after 20 minutes and went to Shattuck's

Sep and Dub Mission have introduced me to the changing space of dub music... showing that riddims touch every side of electronic music and bring a bit back home to roots culture... Dub Mission is the best weekly in SF - dub or otherwise...

I'd give it a zero if i had the option... i was really disapointed by the scene or lack there of at this event... i've been better and more fun reggae nights in chico... it's a total waste of money, i have so much better music on my ipod than this dj has in his collection, and he's getting paid... lame... i'm never going back to this place, especially for reggae on sunday... stay home, get some rest, watch tv, anything is better than this... no girls and loaded w/ baldheads... what a fucking waste...

I HATE THIS PLACE! Now, I have checked out every reggae club in the bay area and am a constant regular on the reggae scene... so please do not ignore my warning. The music turned to drum and bass! ALL NIGHT. Dont waste your seven bucks.

For reggae, dub, roots classics and amazing live shows, Dub Mission is the spot to check. It's by far one of my favorite SF events. Dub Mission's longevity and popularity are a result of it's musical quality and consistency. They've done some of the most unique and one-of-a-kind cutting edge live and DJ shows, featuring acts no-one else has brought to SF. Long-live DM!

It doesn't get better than this. Over a dozen years, DJ Sep and crew have built a forward-thinking dub institution--really, a Dub University--for the San Francisco massive, and its popularity just keeps growing. Features regular guest appearances by national and global dub artists. Highly recommended.
